Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

 EPE GENERAL HOSPITAL ORGANISES SENT-FORTH CEREMONY FOR RETIRED STAFF


The General Hospital, Epe, recently organised a sent-forth ceremony for one of its respected staff and former Head of Health Management Information System, Mrs. Margaret Oludipe, who retired from active service of the State Government following her attainment of the statutory 60 years retirement age and a fulfilling 33 years in the Lagos State Civil Service, 


The Chairman Health Service Commission Dr. Atinuke Onayiga, while speaking at the event held at Epe General Hospital, described the retiree as a very good person, a woman of excellence, very reliable, always ready to serve and ever active.


In her words: "This woman is very hardworking, she is never tired of making sure all T's are crossed and all I's are dotted. I pray that you will continue to live in good health and abundance while in retirement".


Speaking in the same vein, the MD/CEO GH, Epe Dr. Oluseyi Adesola said: "Mrs. Oludipe has been a very wonderful staff, she is a staff that none of her colleagues had regretted working with. She is very reliable, passionate, accommodating, hardworking and selfless”.


"I do not doubt that she is a very good wife and mother too at home because charity begins at home. I pray the Lord will be with her as she journeys through a new phase of life". he added.


Dr. Rafiu Aromire, the Chairman of the occasion also praised Mrs. Oludipe for her resilience and hard work. He also reflected on their working relationship which he valued so much.


In her remarks, the celebrant appreciated everyone who came to rejoice with her and prayed for their journey mercies back to their various destinations.


Mrs. Oludipe Adenike joined the Lagos State Hospital Management Board, now known as the Lagos State Health Service Commission in 1991 at General Hospital Epe, where she served diligently from 1991 to 2006.


Demonstrating her expertise and leadership acumen, she was subsequently transferred to General Hospital, Ibeju-lekki, assuming the role of Head of Department of Health Information Management in 2006, a position she held for three years. In 2009, she returned to General Hospital Epe, where she has since served as the Head of Department of Health Information Management leaving an indelible mark on the department and the hospital at large.


Other dignitaries present at the event include a former Commissioner, Lagos State Civil Service Commission, Hon Wasiu Odeyemi; a former Member House of Representatives, Hon Bola Gbabijo and the Erelu Oba of Epe kingdom, Chief Mrs. Iyabo Osifeso, also lauded the contributions of the retiree to Healthcare delivery and humanity in general.
