 GUNMEN KILL EX-GUMA COUNCILLOR AT HIS HOME IN BENUE  A former councillor, Hon. Paul Mbatsaver Azahaan, has been killed by gunmen suspected to be Fulani herdsmen in Benue State, sparking fresh fears over insecurity in rural communities. Azahaan, who represented Nzorov Council Ward in Guma Local Government Area, was reportedly attacked late on Saturday night, December 13, 2025, at his residence in Tse Azahaan village, Mbagen, Nzorov Ward. According to local sources, the assailants stormed his home under the cover of darkness and launched a deadly attack, leaving the former councillor dead before fleeing the scene. The killing has plunged the community into mourning and heightened anxiety among residents, many of whom say insecurity has continued to worsen across the area. Described as a well-known grassroots politician, Azahaan was said to be deeply connected to his people.  GOVERNOR UZODIMMA GRANTS AUTOMATIC EMPLOYMENT TO FIRST CLASS IMO LAW GRADUATES 



In a significant move aimed at recognizing academic excellence, His Excellency Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma, has approved the immediate employment of two outstanding Imo indigenes, Barr. Chinonso Oparaji and Barr. (Mrs.) Chipuruime Udeh. 


The duo, who achieved First Class honors in Law both at Imo State University and the Nigerian Law School, received the prestigious offer during a recent visit to the Government House in Owerri. 


Accompanied by dignitaries including the Vice Chancellor of Imo State University, Prof. U.U. Chukwumaeze (SAN), and the Chief Judge of Imo State, Hon. Theresa Chikeka, the graduates were warmly received by Governor Uzodimma. 


Underscoring the value of hard work and dedication, the Governor praised the efforts of the university management and faculty in fostering an environment conducive to academic success. He reaffirmed his commitment to uplifting the educational sector in line with the state’s Renewed Hope Agenda. 


In a gracious response to the Governor’s commendable gesture, Barr. Oparaji and Barr. (Mrs.) Udeh, accompanied by their families, expressed gratitude for the recognition of their hard work and they urged younger Imolites to strive for excellence in their academic pursuits.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
