 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. HERO POLICE DOG RESCUES MISSING 3-YEAR-OLD IN FLORIDA. (PHOTO).

 Hero police dog rescues missing 3-year-old in Florida. 


The missing boy was reported to police at around 11:30 a.m. on March 29th. In a very short time a massive search was underway, using all available assets.


One asset however was up to the task and performed like a champ. With just a whiff of the child's blanket, Midnight (a police search dog) was off into the woods. His handler Corporal Clark couldn't keep up through the thick vegetation. Clark stated, "he was dragging me through the woods like he just wasn't going to stop." 


Clark noticed Midnight was cutting himself up while making his way through the thick undergrowth. He realized Midnight was going to get there much faster on his own and he let him go.


By the time Corporal Clark caught up to Midnight he was licking the little boys face and excitedly wiggling all around the young child. 

Clark says Midnight looked up at him as if to say, "hey I got it, here it is."


The toddler was quickly returned to his anxious parents and officers on scene gifted him a teddy bear.


Great job Midnight, such a good boy!
