 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

 Insecurity: Nigeria Is A Disgrace To The World – T.Y Danjuma


A former Chief of Defence Staff, General Theophilus Y. Danjuma, (rtd), says that Nigeria’s security challenges have made the country become a laughing stock and a disgrace to the world.


General Danjuma, while speaking at the annual Nwonyo Fishing and Cultural Festival in Ibbi Local Government Area of Taraba State on Friday, advised that urgent steps must be taken to address the security challenges facing the country.


“Nigerian authority must take urgent measures to  redeem the battered image of the country by addressing the security challenges confronting  the nation,” he said.


The retired General maintained that no person, especially foreigners, would be willing to come to the country to invest or visit tourist sites when their security was not guaranteed.


“No person or group of persons will want to come to our state or country if we continue to kill and butcher ourselves,” he noted.


The retired general further lamented the security challenges across Nigeria, adding that the ugly situation required immediate attention of the government.


He urged that all hands must be on deck in order to put “the right pegs in the right holes.”


He said, “Those in position of authority must work hard  to make the country safe for all Nigerians including foreigners before we could attract more and more investors into the country


“If we continue to make our roads unsafe for people to move around, our dreams of making Nwonyo fishing and cultural festival an international festival, can not be achieved.


“It is sad that Nigeria as a nation has become a laughing stock following the security challenges.


“As the country is currently, we are a disgrace to the whole world and therefore  we must redeem our image and put our house in order because right now we have become a laughing stock to the whole world.” he said.


Speaking at the event, the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahmadu  Fintiri, pledged that his administration would work round the clock to foster mutual cooperation between his state and Taraba State Government.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
