 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Junior Pope: Actors Guild Sets Up Safety Committee For Members


The President, Actors Guild of Nigeria,  Emeka Rollas, has set up a committee to enhance the safety and welfare of members.


This development follows the boat accident, which claimed the lives of five film practitioners, including popular actor, Junior Pope, on Wednesday.

"In every society there are BUILDERS, DWELLERS AND DESTROYERS. Its important one identifies where one belongs. Over the years in Nollywood many ACTORS have been beaten to submission which is why you find many ACTORS who have featured in over 200 hundred movies and still counting roaming the streets depressed, sick and homeless whereas there counterparts in other parts of the world are reaping the benefits of thier craft.

Today, we have carefully selected these established members to join the BUILDERS category and change this narrative in Nollywood and their names will be written in GOLD in the chronicles of Nollywood.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, National Executive council and the entire membership of the Actors Guild of Nigeria I wish them well in Jesus name.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
