Five top employees walked away with $690,000 each, another five received $345,000 each, while others were rewarded with amounts ranging from $3,000 to $69,000.  Kingmakers nominate next Olubadan of Ibadanland


Oba Owolabi Olakulehin has on Friday been appointed as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.


Olubadan in Council which is the Traditional Kingmakers of Ibadanland agreed to name Oba Olakulehin as the next Olubadan, being the Most Senior High Chief in the Balogun line of Olubadan Chieftaincy Ascension.


He was nominated by the Osi Balogun of Ibadanland, Oba Gbadamosi Adebimpe.


Recall that the late Olubadan of Ibadan land, Oba Dr. Moshood Lekan Balogun, Alli Okunmade II died on evening hour of Thursday, March 14 at the University College Hospital (UCH) after a brief illness.


Born on the 18th of October 1942, Oba Olalekan is the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland. He became Olubadan on March 11, 2022.
