  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Man Lounging In His Balcony Shot Dead In Abeokuta 



The Ogun State Police Command on Monday confirmed that gunmen shot a man dead in front of his house in Abeokuta, the state capital.

The command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, stated that two gunmen alighted from an unregistered Toyota Corolla vehicle and shot the man in his head as he was lounging in front of his house on Sunday.

The assailants, she said, fled the scene immediately.

She stated that upon hearing gunshots, neighbours raised an alarm and placed a call to the police to report the incident.

Police got to the scene and found the man lifeless in a pool of his own blood, she also stated.

Odutola added that doctors at the State Hospital, Abeokuta, confirmed the man dead and the body was deposited at the hospital’s morgue for autopsy.

She stated also that no arrest had been made, but that investigations had gone underway.
