 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  My parents wrongly portrayed in TV show, 2baba’s daughter laments


Isabel Idibia, daughter of global singer 2baba, has expressed dissatisfaction over her parents participation on a TV show, ‘Young, Famous, and African‘. 

According to the 15-year-old, she didn’t like the way they were depicted.

She said the way they were portrayed was completely incorrect and when she attempted to defend them, she was labelled a kid.

Isabel further stated that she knows them more than others since they lived in the same family, while netizens only acquire their information from the internet or social media.

Annie Idibia’s daughter In a video, she said: “I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed in Young, Famous and African, the way they were portrayed was just so wrong. Whenever I try to back my parents up and say that’s not what happened everyone is like ‘how would you know? You’re just a child’ How would you know? 

“You’re not in my family, your knowledge is based on stuff that you see on Safari, Instagram and social media. I know it because I’ve been in the household with my parents. 

“I can’t change everyone’s perspective on social media because they will always think what they want to think but they will never know the actual true story or background of anything that has ever happened in my family or anything that has happened before I was even born. I don’t like the way my parents were portrayed, it wasn’t the best image and it wasn’t completely accurate.”
