 Anambra Schools Shine as BBC Quiz Awards Cash Prizes and Trophies to Winners  The 2025 BBC Anambra Mathematics and Igbo Language Quiz Competition concluded with the award of over ₦1 million in cash prizes and trophies to top students, teachers, and schools in Anambra State. The competition was organized by the Best Brain Contest and took place at the ASUBEB Hall in Awka. The 2025 BBC Anambra Mathematics and Igbo Language Quiz Competition has concluded with over ₦1 million in cash prizes awarded to outstanding students, teachers, and schools across Anambra State. The competition was organised by the Best Brain Contest and held at the ASUBEB Hall in Awka. A total of 42 secondary schools participated in the contest, which was conducted in two stages. All schools first competed in a written examination, after which 10 schools in each category qualified for the oral quiz rounds in Mathematics and Igbo Language.  Pancake tortoise: Kenya's race to save rare fast species


The pancake tortoise is found mostly in Kenya and Tanzania. But the rare animal is sought-after around the world especially for exotic pets.


As slow as a tortoise' maybe a popular simile. However, a unique species of tortoise, different in behaviour and physical appearance, challenges this age-old phrase.


Pancake tortoise, named after its flat shell, is fast and flexible.


The animal is found more in East African countries of Kenya and Tanzania than in most places around the world. It is the fastest of the tortoises - thanks to its unusually thin shell.


With a perforated shell, this tortoise is lightweight and agile, a feature that enables it to flee for its dear life when confronted by a predator.


On the other hand, their round-backed cousins, unable to flee, usually go under the cover of their thick shells whenever they sense danger.


The flexible shell of the pancake tortoise allows it to crawl into narrow rock crevices, a habitat that cannot accommodate other tortoises.


These peculiar adaptations and physical features make the pancake tortoise a coveted commodity in exotic pet illegal trade, and now teeters on the brink of extinction.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
