 ANAMBRA POLICE COMMAND RECEIVES AND AUGMENTS IGP’S MONITORING UNIT OPERATIVES ON ENFORCEMENT OF POLICE PERSONNEL WITHDRAWAL FROM VIP ESCORT DUTIES IN THE STATE The Anambra State Police Command today 8th December 2025 formally received operatives of the Inspector-General of Police (IGP)’s Monitoring Unit deployed to the state to ensure full implementation of the IGP’s directive on the withdrawal of police personnel from VIP escort and guard duties. The Commissioner of Police CP Ikioye Orutugu fwc mnips PhD reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to supporting the IGP’s reform efforts targeted at enhancing professionalism, discipline, and optimal deployment of police manpower nationwide. The CP noted that the withdrawal of these officers will help to strengthen public policing, improve response capacity, and ensure that more personnel are available for core policing duties across the state. A 99-YEAR-OLD WOMAN RECEIVED HER HIGH-SCHOOL DIPLOMA ALONGSIDE MACOMB, ILLINOIS HIGH-SCHOOL CLASS OF 2024.(PHOTO).

 Macomb, Illinois- A 99-year-old, Eleanor Ann McKee, received her High-school diploma alongside Macomb, Illinois High-school class of 2024! 


Eleanor was only one class short of graduation when her brother went away to fight in WW2. She had to leave school to help on the family's farm.

Now at 99 years old she led the class of 2024 in the turning of their tassels.


Great job Eleanor and the entire 2024 graduating class of Macomb High-school!
