 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A WOMAN CHARGED WITH STABBING HER BOYFRIEND AFTER LOOKING THROUGH HIS PHONE. (PHOTO).

 19-year-old Texas woman charged with stabbing her boyfriend after looking through his phone. 


Breasia McLeain was visiting her boyfriend at his apartment. As her boyfriend was busy cleaning McLeain, began snooping on his phone. 


Apparently she found something of importance on the phone as she began approaching the victim swearing and brandishing an aluminum rod.


McLeain then began stabbing the victim multiple times with the aluminum rod before he was able to force her from the home. However, she had forced her way back in as police arrived. She then fought police as she was being taken into custody. Paramedics treated the victim at the scene of the incident. 


McLeain was charged with aggravated assault, family violence and assault on a police officer. She was booked into McLennan County Jail where she remains awaiting court.
