 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. BRITISH BOXER 'SHERIF LAWAL' PASSED AWAY DURING HIS FIRST PROFESSIONAL FIGHT. (PHOTO). #RIP

 British boxer passes away after being KO'd in his professional debut.  



29-year-old Sherif Lawal was making his professional boxing debut on Sunday. His match was against Malam Varela, a Portuguese fighter, and took place at the Harrow Leisure Center in London.


According to reports, Valera landed "a clean right hook that connected directly to Lawal's temple". It was immediately apparent to the referee that Lawal had a serious medical issue and he stopped the fight and called paramedics in the ring.


CPR was preformed for over 10 minutes in the ring before Lawal was taken to Northwick Park Hospital where he was pronounced deceased. 


This is a heartbreaking outcome for a young man whose career seemed to be just taking off. Our thoughts are with his family, fans and friends.
