  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. IGP EXTENDS FELICITATIONS ON PCRC'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION



The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, extends warm felicitations to the Police Community Relations Committee (PCRC) as they mark their 40th anniversary with a series of commemorative events, including a Dinner/Gala Night and a Grand Finale. The PCRC has been an invaluable partner to the Police fostering mutual trust, understanding, and collaboration between the police and the communities they serve. Over the past four decades, the PCRC has played a pivotal role in promoting community-oriented policing, enhancing public safety, and advancing the shared goals of peace and security.


The IGP commends the dedication of the PCRC members, volunteers, and stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to strengthen police-community relations and build safer communities across the country under the leadership of Mogaji Ibrahim Olaniyan. Their efforts have not only improved the effectiveness of our policing but have also promoted harmony, unity, and social cohesion.


As the PCRC celebrates this significant milestone, the Inspector General of Police assures that the Force will continually work hand-in-hand with the Committee and other community stakeholders to address emerging challenges, uphold the rule of law, and ensure the safety and security of all citizens.
