 ENUGU STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE YULETIDE SECURITY: ENUGU POLICE OPERATIVES BUST ARMED ROBBERY AND ONE-CHANCE SYNDICATE, ARREST FIVE SUSPECTS, RECOVER IMITATION GUN, STOLEN TRICYCLES AND OTHER EXHIBITS Operatives of the Enugu State Police Command attached to the Anti-Cultism Tactical Squad have arrested five armed robbery and one-chance criminal suspects in a series of coordinated operations and investigations conducted between 22nd November and 1st December 2025. The suspects are Ikechukwu Patrick (male, 19), Odoh David (male, 21), Izuchukwu Ogbodo (male, 37), Charles Ekenechukwu Egwuatu (male, 39), and Justina Dike (female, 37). Exhibits recovered from them include an imitation gun, four stolen tricycles, a scissors blade, multiple master keys, and several SIM cards. Patrick and Odoh were first arrested on 22nd November 2025 with the assistance of the Neighbourhood Watch Group. An imitation gun and a scissors blade were recovered from them.  Kano HMB Suspends medical doctor for Abscondment

The Executive Secretary Kano State Hospitals Management (HMB) Board Dr Mansur Mudi Nagoda has approved the immediate suspension of a medical doctor at Muhammad Abdullahi Wase Teaching Hospital.


This was a sequel to complaints received by patients and staff after the Doctor left the facility without informing the management of the hospital.


He explained that Several calls were put to her and she kept saying she was at the hospital but never showed up leaving a dialysis patient in a terrible state. 


The executive secretary stressed that the medical officer's suspension will be effective pending the outcome of the investigation. 


"The supervision will continue with full force and we expect everyone whose name appears on the duty roster to be at their post. Whoever is found wanting should have their self to blame".


Dr. Nagoda pointed out that doctors took an oath to protect lives which should be a top priority and urged them to redouble their efforts. 


He maintained that Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf has approved allowances for medical doctors to ensure quality healthcare delivery.
