 TROOPS OF OPERATION UDOKA DISMANTLE CRIMINAL SYNDICATE, RECOVER STOLEN WEAPONS Troops of 34 Artillery Brigade, operating under Operation UDOKA through the ongoing Operation EASTERN SANITY II, have recorded a significant operational success with the arrest of key members of a notorious criminal syndicate responsible for the ambush of troops on 4 May 2026. Unfortunately, the ambush claimed the life of one soldier and left another wounded. Following the attack, troops launched a series of intelligence-led raids aimed at apprehending the perpetrators and recovering weapons stolen during the incident.  Why I prostrated to greet IBD Dende – Teni


Afrobeats singer Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni has explained the reasons for prostrating to greet popular businessman and socialite, Ibrahim Egungbohun Dende, aka IBD Dende, on a plane recently.

Following Teni’s action, netizens criticised her for also sharing the video prostrating to greet IBD Dende.

Most of the commentators slammed her for associating with IBD Dende despite smuggling allegations against him.

Reacting on Saturday morning, Teni explained that she wasn’t aware of any criminal activities associated with IBD Dende, adding that the businessman showed her kindness in 2014 before she hit stardom, making her hold him in high esteem.

She noted that she does not support criminals.

She wrote: “[I] Met IBD [Dende] in 2014 and he was so good to me, even before I blew up. So when[ever] I see him, it’s always love.

“I honestly had no knowledge of any criminal activities associated with him. I do not support criminals, so let the law take its course.”
