 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A WOMAN ARRESTED AFTER SHE TOLD HER BOYFRIEND'S CHILDREN TO STAND IN VERY HOT WATER, CAUSING THEM BURNS AND SEIZURES. (PHOTO).


 Ohio woman in custody after forcing her boyfriend's children to stand in scalding hot water causing serious burns and seizures. 


22-year-old Malynda Harrison was taken into custody on Sunday after an investigation into a June 6 incident.


On that day first responders were called to a home in Guyan Township, Ohio to the report of a 5-year-old girl suffering from a seizure. Once on scene the EMS workers noticed the young girl had sustained severe burns to a large portion of her body. The child was immediately transported to Huntington, Ohio, for treatment. 


Police began an investigation and soon uncovered evidence suggesting the girl's condition was a direct result of Harrison's actions. According to police Harrison is in a relationship with the father of the children and was watching them when the incident occurred. During an Interveiw with officers Harrison admitted to placing the 5-year-old and her 4-year-old sister in a tub filled with scalding water and physically restraining them to keep them from exiting.  The 4-year-old also suffered 1st and 2nd degree burns. 


Malynda Harrison is being charged with 2 counts of Felony child endangerment and is being held on $500,000 bond.
