 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. CP ITAM ORDERS INVESTIGATION INTO THE LIFELESS BODY OF A BABY FOUND IN A BAG AT IFITE, AWKA



_decries moral decay in the society_


The Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Police Command, CP Nnaghe Obono Itam has ordered an immediate investigation into the lifeless body of a baby found today 2/06/2024 in a sack at a refuse dump along Ifite Road, Awka.


Preliminary investigations reveal the child should be a day old and was abandoned by yet unidentified woman suspected to be the mother. Meanwhile, the body has been recovered and the Police are currently working with some eyewitness information at the scene for possible arrest of the perpetrator.


To this end, the CP decries moral decay in Society and describes the act as ungodly, barbaric, and inhuman. He also urges Parents/Guardians to pay greater attention to children/wards and call on anyone with useful information that can aid the investigation to come forward to the Police Command headquarters in this regard.
