 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00.  EPL: Don’t sack Ten Hag – Van Gaal tells Man United


Former Manchester United manager, Louis van Gaal has urged the Red Devils not to sack current head coach Erik ten Hag.

Van Gaal wants Manchester United to give Ten Hag more time at Old Trafford.

Ten Hag’s future at Man United is uncertain despite winning the FA Cup last season.

There have been speculations that Man United could part ways with Ten Hag this summer.

“Yes of course (he should stay) but I also needed more time. I also won the FA Cup, and before me, 20 years nobody had won the FA Cup. Erik is winning the FA Cup, the first year also (qualifying for the) Champions League so I don’t think you have to sack him. He needs more time,” Van Gaal, who managed Man United from July 2014 to May 2016, told Sky Sports.

“But I can also be more critical, he’s not done it fantastically, you can be with a lot of criticsm but he’s also shown he’s a good manager.”
