 Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation  Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. Represented by his deputy, Dr Peter Akpe, the Bayelsa Chief Executive acknowledged the critical role traditional rulers play in society as the custodians of culture and tradition, stressing that his administration will continue to hold them in high esteem. Police in the Hamptons community gave few details about the arrest of the singer, who was once among the most prominent stars in American popular music.

Pop star Justin Timberlake has been arrested in New York on charges related to driving while intoxicated, as per reports.


Media reports stated that the singer was apprehended in Sag Harbor, an affluent village in the Hamptons, Long Island—a popular summer destination for celebrities.


Timberlake, 43, who was set to embark on a global tour for his sixth album, ‘Everything I Thought It Was’, is expected to be formally charged shortly. 


Justin Timberlake is a former member of boy band NSYNC. Timberlake has made a significant impact as an actor, songwriter, and one of the world's best-selling music artists. 


This arrest comes just days before Timberlake was scheduled to perform two shows in Chicago this weekend, followed by a show at New York’s Madison Square Garden next Tuesday. Timberlake's arrest could potentially affect the planned schedule of his tour, reports stared.


In addition to his music career, Timberlake has also garnered acclaim for his acting roles in films such as ‘The Social Network’ and ‘Friends With Benefits’. As a 10-time Grammy winner, his influence spans across multiple entertainment industries.
