 East Boston soccer ball installation sets Guinness World Record as world’s largest ahead of FIFA World Cup matches in Massachusetts   A giant soccer ball installed at Piers Park II in East Boston has officially been recognized as the world’s largest, surpassing a previous record set in Qatar in 2013. The inflatable structure was created by Britten, Inc. and Creative Inflatables in Ohio as a celebration of upcoming FIFA World Cup matches scheduled to take place in Foxborough in June and July. The installation will remain on public display through June 18, giving visitors a chance to see the record-breaking display up close. Officials said the materials used in the structure will be recycled once the exhibit is taken down.

BRIDE'S FAMILY RETURNS DOWRY TO WOULD BE HUSBAND

An interesting incident took place in New Karu town of Karu LGA, Nasarawa State, where the Family of Late. Esu Bulus Chetubo of New Karu retĂşrned the Bride Price of their daughter, Na'omi. 


The bride price was earlier charged at N100,000, but on reaching the agreement, to the point where the marriage list was to be submitted, the bride's family surprisingly took just N1,000 and returned N99,000 to the groom, Mr. Amos Philemon, who is from the family of Philemon Dara of Bwari, Abuja. 


According to the bride's family, the idea behind retĂ»rning the money is to demonstrate the mindset that their daughter cannot be sold, as such, the money had to be returned, with only a token received as dowry to fulfill the culture of marriage.
