 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring.  Channels TV’s Seun Okinbaloye Not Sacked — Kperogi


Contrary to widespread speculation on social media, Seun Okinbaloye, a prominent anchor with Channels TV, has not been fired from the station.


This clarification was made by a Mass Communication professor and famous newspaper columnist, Farooq Kperogi, who spoke directly with Okinbaloye.


Kperogi said he had an exclusive conversation with the television anchor on Saturday morning, who confirmed that he is currently on vacation in the United States and remains an employee of Channels TV.


He quoted the popular broadcaster as saying “The whole story is fake news.”


This development puts to rest the rumours that had been circulating online since, suggesting that Okinbaloye had been let go by the television station.


Professor Kperogi’s confirmation has allayed the fears of fans and viewers who were concerned about the Politics Today’s anchor with Channels TV.


Okinbaloye is a respected journalist and anchor, known for his in-depth analysis and insightful reporting.
