 TEAM LAGOS EMERGES TOP AT 23RD NATIONAL SPORTS FESTIVAL SOUTH WEST ELIMINATION Lagos State athletes proved their dominance in the South West by edging out regional competitors and emerging top in the five team events contested at the elimination series qualifier for the 23rd National Sports Festival later this year in Enugu. The elimination series featured team events in volleyball, basketball, football, beach volleyball, and cricket in male and female categories. While the team clinched only the female football ticket by topping their group, they showed dominance in three other sports by winning both the male and female tickets. Team Lagos took first position in the volleyball male and female categories. The male team defeated their counterparts from Ondo in the finals by 25-18, 24-26, 25-20, and 25-20, while the female team defeated Team Oyo by 25-18, 22-25, 28-26, 16-25, and 15-8. "When Burna Boy called me to come perform at the London Stadium, I thought he was joking and I just laughed. 

But I was shõcked when he called me 2 days to the show and said "My bro, pack your bags because a private jet is gonna pick you up tomorrow." 

That was when I believed that he was actually serious so I ironed my favorite blue shirt and black trouser with my expensive shoe and packed a few things. On that day, I went to the airport and his private jet picked me up as promised. That was actually the first day I ever got into a private jet for free. When we got to London, I thought that maybe I was gonna perform at the after party but Burna Boy told me that I was gonna open the stage for him. When I came out before 80k people, I almost lõst conscîousness because I've never performed before such a huge audience. Burna Boy paid me handsomely.
