 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE DELTA STATE CP ABANIWONDA OLUFEMI VISITS CBN OFFICE, ASABA DELTA STATE, INSPECT MATERIALS AND ORDERS DPOS TO PERSONALLY LEAD ESCORT OF ELECTION MATERIALS TO THEIR VARIOUS DESTINATION



Today 12th July 2024, the Commissioner of Police Delta State CP Abaniwonda Olufemi led the DCP Operations, the squadron commander 31PMF and DPOs across the twenty-five LGAs to the CBN office, Asaba, Delta State for the inspection of Local Government election materials and safe escorts of both sensitive and non-sensitive materials to the various Local Governments Areas. The CP issued a firm directive that the DPO's must personally lead all materials safely to the various destinations and assured all residents, and electorates that the Command will ensure that the election is conducted peacefully and hitch-free.


He further reiterated the restriction of movement from 8AM to 3PM on election day while noting that NABTEB examination students and people on essential duties will not be affected by the restriction order. The CP urges electorates to be law-abiding and peaceful during the exercise.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
