Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. COMMISSIONER OF POLICE DELTA STATE CP ABANIWONDA OLUFEMI VISITS CBN OFFICE, ASABA DELTA STATE, INSPECT MATERIALS AND ORDERS DPOS TO PERSONALLY LEAD ESCORT OF ELECTION MATERIALS TO THEIR VARIOUS DESTINATION



Today 12th July 2024, the Commissioner of Police Delta State CP Abaniwonda Olufemi led the DCP Operations, the squadron commander 31PMF and DPOs across the twenty-five LGAs to the CBN office, Asaba, Delta State for the inspection of Local Government election materials and safe escorts of both sensitive and non-sensitive materials to the various Local Governments Areas. The CP issued a firm directive that the DPO's must personally lead all materials safely to the various destinations and assured all residents, and electorates that the Command will ensure that the election is conducted peacefully and hitch-free.


He further reiterated the restriction of movement from 8AM to 3PM on election day while noting that NABTEB examination students and people on essential duties will not be affected by the restriction order. The CP urges electorates to be law-abiding and peaceful during the exercise.
