 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Dubai Police Organizes Delightful Summer Activities for Students at Children's City


The Dubai Police Positive Spirit Council, in collaboration with the Security Inspection Department K9, the People of Determination Council, and Children's City, organized a series of summer activities for male and female students at the Children's City. This event aimed to enhance communication with children and bring them happiness.


The activities were attended by Lieutenant Colonel Salah Al Mazrouei, Director of the Dubai Police Security Inspection Department K9, along with several other members of the Positive Spirit Council. As part of the event, the organizers educated the students about the critical role of police dogs in law enforcement and their contributions to crime prevention and community protection.


Fatima Bouhajir, Chairperson of the Positive Spirit Council, stated that the summer activities aim to bring happiness to the male and female students during their vacation, increase their knowledge, develop their skills, and familiarize them with the community-oriented police role. She praised the Security Inspection Department K9 and the Children's City for their ongoing support in ensuring the success of the summer activities organized by the Council.
