  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  FG Repatriates 190 Nigerians From UAE Day After Announcing Visa Ban Lift


The Federal Government has repatriated 190 Nigerians from the United Arab Emirates.


In a statement signed by Zonal Director of National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) North Central, Bashir Idris Garga,the returnees were received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Tuesday morning by a combined team of government officials led by NEMA.


He said the returnees were profiled and documented by the relevant agencies and sensitized to behave with decorum and responsibility on their return to Nigeria.


This is coming barely 24 hours after the federal government said it had reached an agreement with the UAE on the issue of the visa ban imposed on Nigeria two years ago.


The Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris, on Monday announced the agreement while addressing State House reporters at the Presidential Villa, Abuja


“You are aware that Nigeria has been discussing with the United Arab Emirates the issue of visas for Nigerian passport holders going to the United Arab Emirates.


“Today, an agreement has been reached on that, and effective today, July 15th, Nigerian passport holders are able to obtain visas to go to the United Arab Emirates.“Details of that will be provided to you later today when we put out a statement. But I can tell you that the agreement has been reached and effective from today, Nigerian passport holders intending to travel to the UAE are able to do so,” he had said.


However, there has not been any official communication yet from the UAE authorities on the agreement.
