 STATEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   ENGINEERS FAROUK AHMED, GBENGA KOMOLAFE RESIGN, PRESIDENT TINUBU NOMINATES SUCCESSORS TO THE SENATE FOR APPROVAL President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve the nominations of two new chief executives for the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) and the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC).   The requests followed the resignation of Engineer Farouk Ahmed of the NMDPRA and Gbenga Komolafe of the NUPRC. Both officials were appointed in 2021 by former President Buhari to lead the two regulatory agencies created by the Petroleum Industry Act (PIA).   To fill these positions, President Tinubu has written to the Senate, requesting expedited confirmation of Oritsemeyiwa Amanorisewo Eyesan as CEO of NUPRC and Engineer Saidu Aliyu Mohammed as CEO of NMDPRA.   The two nominees are seasoned professionals in the oil and gas industry.   Eyesan, a graduate of Economics f...

Big Brother Naija star, Khloe Abiri, has called out Delta Airlines for the second time over her alleged stolen properties.

She expressed frustration and anger, stating her valuables went missing under their care and she hasn’t received a satisfactory response despite waiting for days.

Khloe shared a tweet detailing her ordeal and tagging Delta Airlines, asking them to return her stolen items.

She mentioned that they had asked her to wait 7-30 days to review her claims, which she found unacceptable.

”@delta where are my things? It won’t be funny if you come back and say I can’t get my missing items back.

“Don’t say you can’t get CCTV for flight 1261 from Miami to Atlanta on July 10, 2024 departing from Miami at 8:20 AM and landing in Atlanta at 10:20 AM.

“I don’t want to hear any excuses because it’s criminal and unacceptable for your employee to open a customer’s luggage and steal items worth thousands of dollars, and I haven’t even received a reply for days. #Please @delta, bring back my stuff.

“lam exhausted @delta you people are messing with my head right now and that’s not cool. I’m stranded in America because I don’t have my stuff,” she wrote.

Netizens rallied around her in the comment section, calling out Delta Airlines and demanding that they take action to resolve the issue.

Some expressed frustration and disappointment, while others urged Delta to take responsibility and return Khloe’s stolen items.
