 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  *One-way Driving: ARTMA Advices Drivers To Strictly Adhere To Traffic Rules*

Anambra State Road Traffic Management Agency (ARTMA) has advised drivers to adhere strictly to designated routes to avoid endangering lives.


The agency, in an ARTMA Report of Sunday, 30th June, 2024, titled, 'Notice to All Road Users and Drivers in Anambra State,' frowned at the activities of road users who drive against traffic (one-way), adding that it has deployed a special team to curb the trend.


"Driving against traffic (one-way) is tantamount to endangering lives. The risks involved can not be overstated.


"The agency has observed a disturbing trend, particularly in Onitsha, where drivers, including heavy-duty trucks, disregard traffic rules after 6 pm. This irresponsible behaviour has resulted in numerous accidents and fatalities.


"ARTMA officers are tirelessly working around the clock to maintain smooth traffic flow, thereby eliminating the need for such hazardous actions.


"Drivers are strongly advised to adhere strictly to designated routes at all times. ARTMA has deployed a specialized team dedicated to curbing this life-threatening recklessness from 6 pm onwards," the report reads.
