 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. A MAN LOST HIS LIFE SAVING A GIRL ONE HOUR AFTER HIS BAPTISM. (PHOTO).

 A 21-year-old Texas man loses his life saving a teen girl only one hour after his baptism, ensuring his place with the angels. 


Lincer Lopez and a group of people from his church visited Lake Waxahachie in Garland, Texas on Saturday afternoon. While on the church outing, Lopez was baptized.


As the group celebrated in the water, an hour later, a teenage girl began struggling. Lopez sprang into action without a second thought for his own safety. Sadly, Lopez found himself struggling soon after and slipped below the surface of the water. 


The teen girl was rescued soon after by a boater who administered CPR and was able to resuscitate her. Unfortunately it was too late for Lopez, however the same boater was able to recover his body from the water.


Lincer Lopez truly is a hero and selflessly gave his own life to save another life.  Our thoughts are with his family and friends in their time of grief.
