 APC National Leadership Pays Condolence Visit to late Sen. Ubah Family


Alhaji Abdullahi Ganduje, National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has led National Working Committee (NWC) to pay a condolence visit to the Abuja home of late Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah to commiserate with the family.


He said Ubah’s death was a great loss to the ruling party.


The delegation which visited the late Senator’s family on Aug. 23 included the Chairman of the Progressives Governors’ Forum, Gov. Hope Uzodimma, Ondo State Gov., Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister for Youth Development, and other party chieftains.


The party leaders, during the visit, expressed their condolences to the family members of the late Senator and commended his contributions to the party and the nation at large. 


They described him as a true hero and philanthropist who dedicated his life to serving humanity.


Ganduje, recalled the efforts of the late Senator towards the development of the party in Anambra state. 


He informed the wife of the late senator, Mrs Uche Ubah, that the leadership of the party came to pay their last respects to a great man who dedicated his life to serving humanity.


“Senator Ubah was a true hero and philanthropist who touched the lives of many. We will miss him dearly, but his legacy will live on,” he said.


Uzodimma added: “We are proud to call Sen. Ubah our own. He was a shining example of what it means to serve humanity selflessly. We are deeply saddened by this irreparable loss of a true patriot and a dedicated servant of the people. We will miss him dearly, but his legacy will live on.”


Other members of the delegation were Dr Jamila Bio Ibrahim, Minister for Youth Development, Deputy National Chairman South, Chief Emma Eneukwu, National Vice Chairman South East, Dr Ijeomah Arodiogbu and APC National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Suleman Argungu.


Also are National Youth Leader APC, Dr Dayo Israel, APC Deputy National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Nze Chidi Duru, Former Anambra State Deputy Governor, Dr Nkem Okeke, Director General, South East Governor’s forum, Senator Uche Ekwunife, Executive Secretary of PITAD, Dr Chioma Ejikeme, among others.


On hand to receive them alongside the wife of the late senator were Chief Olisa Metuh (Akajiugo Nnewi), APC South East Organizing Secretary, Dozie Ikedife Jr., Hon. Vin Onyeka, Chidi Orizu (Capt.), Mr Ernest Otugo, Mr Gozie Udogu (Chief of Staff), Princess Esom Nwafor Orizu, Hon. Kamen Ogbonna (Special Adviser, Media and Strategic Communications), Mr AC Sambros, Mr Chidi Okoye (Founder Ikemba Front), Ichie Mike Ejezie and others.
