 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly.  𝐁𝐎𝐓𝐒𝐖𝐀𝐍𝐀 𝐏𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝟏𝟒𝟎 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐗𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄


The celebrations opened with the awarding of medals yesterday (02/08/24) and ended today with a beehive of activities and entertainment. The event was graced by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Botswana, Dr Mokgweetsi Eric Keabetswe Masisi. 


The President bestowed medals on deserving police officers of different ranks. The medals included Botswana Police Long Service and Good Conduct which is awarded at 18 years of service; Botswana Police Service Jubilee given at 25years and Botswana Police Distinguished Service Order for 30 years.


His Excellency also inspected the Guard of Honour and Ceremonial Parades on the two days respectively mounted by BPS in his honour. He was amongst the multitudes who celebrated this magnificent event first hand.


The event was broadcast live on Botswana Television, various government Facebook pages including BWgovernment and BPS.  On the menu of activities, the spectators were served amongst others, the tug of war, callisthenics, motorcycle, band and air displays and acrobatics.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
