Nigerian clergyman Pastor Bolaji Idowu has elicited mixed reactions with a message to wives with cheating husbands.

In a video making rounds online, the lead pastor of Harvesters church admonished women with cheating partners to confess righteousness out of them. He noted how anytime a man cheats, his wife laments rather than helping him out of the addiction. He reminded them that there is power in the tongue, and anytime they call their husbands cheat, they add more to his problems.

Giving them a solution, he told them to confess righteousness from their cheating husbands and declare the word of God on them.

“Any small thing my husband is a serial cheater. What you are saying is a problem also because you are adding to his problem by confessing it. If your husband is a cheater, confess righteousness out of him. Look at him with tears, ‘Honey, I know what you did. I know it was very bad but you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. You are a Holy man of God.

The reason for this is every time there is darkness, we speak light.
