 JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Mop-Up Results, Set to Begin Candidate Ranking The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) mop-up exercise. This crucial update marks the end of the testing phase for the current academic session, paving the way for the next stage of the tertiary admission process. According to a statement issued by JAMB's Public Communication Adviser, Fabian Benjamin, candidates who sat for the mop-up examination can now access their performance details through the board's approved result-checking channels. Candidate Ranking and Admission Letter Printing With the mop-up results now live, JAMB is transitioning immediately into the screening and placement phase. Ethiopian_Airlines signs agreement with UAE company for new $6 billion airport design


Ethiopian Airlines has signed an agreement with UAE company #Dar to carry out design work for a new mega airport to be constructed near #Bishoftu at a cost of 6 billion USD.


According to local media reports, the company will finalize and submit the design of the airport in one year and will have consultancy role during the construction of the airport which will take five years to finish.


The airport, to be constructed on a 35 square kilometer land, will serve more than 100 million passengers annually upon full completion, and will have a landing and take-off capacity of up to 4 planes at the same time.


Bole International airport currently has the capacity of serving 25 million passengers annually.
