  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  ‘It’s false’ – GTB debunks hackers seizing website, customers’ data


Nigeria’s leading commercial bank, Guarantee Trust Bank, has described as entirely false report of its website being seized by hackers.


The clarification comes amid a report that its website has been compromised by hackers and customers’ data intercepted in a massive phishing operation.

A source from GTB said that the claim was entirely untrue.

He clarified that the bank was having a connectivity issue but that it had nothing to do with hacking.

“It’s false. What we are experiencing is a connectivity issue and has nothing to do with the alleged hacking”,


The incident which happened on Wednesday night made the site inaccessible as some customers lamented on social media.

Multiple attempts to log on to www.gtbbank.com returned error signs as of 10:30pm on Wednesday.

The incident happened after the domain name was renewed for another five years from August 13, 2024, through March 21, 2029, according to platforms that analyse domain information.
