 STAEHOUSE PRESS RELEASE   PRESIDENT TINUBU: WE WILL CONTINUE TO SUSTAIN BUHARI'S LEGACIES.   President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, on Monday in Abuja, stated that his administration will continue to honour former President Muhammadu Buhari by sustaining his legacies of purposeful leadership, discipline, integrity, and the belief that public office is a trust, not a windfall.   President Tinubu made this commitment at the State House Conference Centre during the unveiling and public presentation of the book, *From Soldier to Statesman – The Legacy of Muhammadu Buhari*, authored by Dr Charles Omole.   He said the book offers Nigerians the opportunity to learn from President Buhari, and affirmed that the greatest honour to bestow on the late President is to sustain his legacies.   "This book reinforces the public memory. MOSCOW, August 9. /TASS/. The head of Russia’s Presidential Council for the Development of Civil Society and Human Rights (HRC), Valery Fadeyev, has told TASS that he is preparing an appeal to international organizations to recognize that the Kiev regime’s deliberate killings of civilians in the Kursk Region are terrorist acts.


"Right now, I am drafting an appeal to relevant international bodies, including human rights ones, with a demand to recognize the terrorist nature of the Kiev regime’s actions in the Kursk Region," he said.


According to him, the Ukrainian attack on Russia’s borderline Kursk Region resulted in civilian fatalities.


"And these are not just collateral damage, which, unfortunately, happens in combat - these are deliberate murders. A pregnant woman was killed, there are injured children, and wounded in the back at that, civilian vehicles are being targeted, the Gornal St. Nicholas Belogorsky Monastery was shelled and partially destroyed with one person killed," Fadeyev said."
