 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville.  Rapper, Rick Ross faces lawsuit over wheelchair accessibility for the disabled


Rick Ross, an American rapper and record executive, is being sued by a disabled man named Darris Straughter, who claims that his Car & Bike Show was not wheelchair accessible.


Straughter alleges he was unable to attend the event despite purchasing a ticket and informing organizers of his requirements two weeks ahead of time.


The plaintiff, who has been incapacitated since 2018, claims that the organizers promised refunds for those who could not attend the event but did not follow through.


Straughter is seeking damages and a court order forcing future events to provide adequate disability access.


The action, filed by attorney John Hoover Esq., accuses Ross of breach of contract, unjust enrichment, and violating the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA).
