  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report.  Boyfriend allegedly kills girlfriend at NWU Vaal Campus before taking his own life


According to MDM news, the North-West University (NWU) Vaal Campus is mourning the tragic loss of 22-year-old Mamohlotsi Rebecca Nchabeleng. 


She was a fourth-year BEd student from Tafelkop who was allegedly found deceased in her room at a private residence on Monday, August 19, 2024. 


This devastating news comes just a day after a fatal car accident claimed the lives of six NWU Vaal Campus students.


Nchabeleng's body was allegedly discovered following the death of her non-NWU student boyfriend in Sharpeville. 


He was reportedly found deceased with a suicide note that revealed the location of Nchabeleng. 


Sergeant Sabelo Sigcu, the spokesperson for Vanderbijlpark Police, confirmed the opening of a murder case and ongoing investigations into the matter. 


The boyfriend's family allegedly alerted the police after discovering him deceased by hanging at his home. His suicide note allegedly disclosed that he had taken Nchabeleng's life before ending his own.
