 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean.  Singer Portable injured, robbed by 'area boys' in Lagos


Nigerian street-pop artiste Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to share disturbing videos of injuries he sustained during a recent attack at an event in Lagos.

Portable, known for his controversial public persona, revealed in his post that he and his team were assaulted by a group of individuals identified as “Egbon Adugbo” at an event in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos State.


The singer was reportedly attending a celebration for a friend who is a car vendor when the incident occurred.

According to Portable, his presence and behavior at the event drew unwanted attention, leading to a violent confrontation.


In his social media statement,Portable disclosed that the attackers not only inflicted severe injuries but also made off with several pieces of his expensive jewelry.

The robbers also stole two iPhones belonging to one of his managers, an ATM card, one of Portable’s cars, and various other personal items.


This attack comes after Portable’s recent social media celebration of the birth of his manager’s Babyluv’s first child


A video that he shared shows him being lifted with effort and made to sit on a couch after supposedly being assaulted.
