 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots.  Singer Portable injured, robbed by 'area boys' in Lagos


Nigerian street-pop artiste Habeeb Okikiola Badmus, popularly known as Portable, has taken to social media to share disturbing videos of injuries he sustained during a recent attack at an event in Lagos.

Portable, known for his controversial public persona, revealed in his post that he and his team were assaulted by a group of individuals identified as “Egbon Adugbo” at an event in Iju-Ishaga, Lagos State.


The singer was reportedly attending a celebration for a friend who is a car vendor when the incident occurred.

According to Portable, his presence and behavior at the event drew unwanted attention, leading to a violent confrontation.


In his social media statement,Portable disclosed that the attackers not only inflicted severe injuries but also made off with several pieces of his expensive jewelry.

The robbers also stole two iPhones belonging to one of his managers, an ATM card, one of Portable’s cars, and various other personal items.


This attack comes after Portable’s recent social media celebration of the birth of his manager’s Babyluv’s first child


A video that he shared shows him being lifted with effort and made to sit on a couch after supposedly being assaulted.
