 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. SOON FACIAL RECOGNITION WILL BE THE NEW PASSPORT TO ENTER SINGAPORE. (PHOTO).

 Soon you will no longer need a passport to go to Singapore, a major step forward. You will soon no longer need your passport to transit through Singapore's Changi Airport, which has been experimenting with facial recognition technology since this summer. It is nicknamed "the most beautiful airport in the world"..


Famous for its elliptical infrastructure with thousands of glass panels and its unmissable forty-meter-high Jewel waterfall,  Singapore Changi Airport combines tropical garden ambiance and modernity..


Just recently, an element worthy of a science fiction film has added a new touch of avant-garde to the place: this summer, facial recognition systems appeared there. Indeed, since August 5, there is no longer any need to present your passport to customs… It is the passenger's face that serves as an identity document..


The operation lasts a few seconds, and simply consists of placing yourself in front of a scanner, to let your face and iris be identified..


The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority assures that this new control method reduces waiting time by 30 to 40% in the local daily  The Straits Times..

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
