 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. TEXAS TEACHER ARRESTED FOR ANIMAL CRUELTY AFTER A VERY DISTURBING INCIDENT LEFT STUDENTS VERY SHAKEN UP. (PHOTO).

 Texas teacher arrested for animal cruelty after a very disturbing incident left students very shaken up.


According to reports, 25-year-old Emily Benner was arrested for cruelty to non-livestock animals after an incident which took place in her agriculture science class.


Although both the school and news outlets are being tight lipped as to what actually took place, multiple sources have told us what allegedly happened. According to multiple sources,  Benner stapled a large wound shut on a cat without any anesthesia while students were told to hold the animal down while it was trying to get free. This left many students at the school deeply troubled, leading to multiple complaints to both the school and local law enforcement. The students wanted the cat to go to a vet and did not want to help perform this procedure. 


A warrant was obtained on Saturday for Benner's arrest and she was subsequently taken into custody on Sunday. 


Emily Benner posted a $7,500 bond and was released the same day. 


Emily somehow came in contact with an injured cat that needed help and she was going to show her students how to do it. It is unclear how all of this began.
