 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. WIFE ARRESTED FOR THE GRUESOME MURDER OF HER HUSBAND AT MALUNGANE VILLAGE IN NAMAKGALE, PHALABORWA. (PHOTO).

Wife arrested for the gruesome murder of her husband at Malungane village in Namakgale, Phalaborwa 


Namakgale police have arrested a 52-year-old woman in connection with the alleged murder of her 63-year-old husband. The incident took place at Malungane village in Phalaborwa on Tuesday, 27 August 2024, at about 22:00.


 Reportedly, the couple was at home with their two grandchildren when the husband, who was allegedly intoxicated, ordered them to leave the house, resulting in a fight.


The suspect then assaulted the victim with an unknown object on his upper body. The suspect was arrested the following day on Wednesday, 28 August 2024.


The victim was certified dead at the scene. and the police opened a murder case for further investigation.  


The suspect will appear before Namakgale Magistrate's Court tomorrow, 30 August 2024.
