 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. CALIFORNIA MAN LOSES HIS LIFE AFTER A HORSE CRASHES THROUGH TYE WINDSHIELD OF THE CAR HE WAS TRAVELING IN. (PHOTO).

 California man loses his life after a horse crashes through the windshield of the car he was traveling in.


In the early morning hours of Sunday September 22nd, a vehicle hauling a horse and trailer crashed into the guardrail along I-15 in California. This accident predicated a chain reaction of accidents along the interstate including a semi hitting the horse trailer.


The horse had escaped before the crash with the semi but unfortunately would not escape with its life and would ultimately be involved with the only human fatality. 


According to reports, after escaping the trailer, the horse crossed the median where it was clipped by a Honda Accord driven by a 27-year-old male who escaped with minor injuries. Sadly the 25-year-old male passenger would lose his life as the horse was spun and flung through the windshield causing the passengers death alongside the horse.


No arrests have been made and what caused the vehicle hauling the horse to initially crash remains under investigation.
