 DG NEMA Takes Disaster Risk Reduction Awareness To Primary School Pupils in Abuja The Director General of NEMA, Mrs. Zubaida Umar, has visited LEA Primary School, Durumi, Abuja where she engaged pupils in an interactive session on disaster prevention and safety awareness. The visit which formed part of NEMA’s ongoing efforts to promote disaster risk reduction education among young Nigerians and build a culture of safety from an early age. A statement by Manzo Ezekiel, Head, Press Unit indicates that while addressing the pupils, Mrs. Zubaida Umar emphasized the importance of basic safety habits and simple disaster mitigation measures that children can adopt both at home and in school. She taught the pupils practical steps to reduce risks associated with common emergencies such as fire outbreaks, flooding, and unsafe play environments.  The Director General encouraged them to be safety conscious, remain alert to potential dangers in their surroundings, and promptly report hazar...

LSWMO SEALED OFF A EATERY AT EGBEDA-IDIMU ROAD.(PHOTOS).

 The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO) @lswmomedia today Monday,16th September, 2024, after a public complaint, sealed off Cravings & More, a fast food outlet along Egbeda-Idimu road for illegal discharge of fats and oil from their kitchen into public drainage system. 


The unwholesome sanitation practices of the restaurant has led to the clogging of the drainage system, causing massive proliferation of maggot and houseflies as well as the emission of foul odour causing discomfort and health hazard to the entire community. 


The Lagos State Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources remains committed to ensuring that sanitation and hygiene standards are not compromised in the State.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
