 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta.  Ondo man arrested for shooting rival in concubine’s home


The Ondo state police command has arrested a 43-year-old man, Mr. Ajagba Joseph, for allegedly attempting to murder a man he found in his concubine’s house.


This was made known in a statement shared by the police command on X.com on Wednesday.


According to the statement the incident occurred on August 23rd when Joseph visited his lover’s home and met another man, who was also reportedly in a relationship with the same woman.


Angered by the situation, Joseph allegedly pulled out a single-barrel gun and shot the other man.


The victim survived the attack and is currently recuperating from his injuries.


The statement said, “Attempted Murder – This married man, Mr Ajagba Joseph aged 43 on 23rd of Aug, went to his concubine’s house n met a co concubine, he became angry and shot the other concubine with his single barrel gun, victim recuperating, suspect in custody and will soon be charged to court.


“For clarity, the man met another lover ( a man) in the woman’s house”
