 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe.  Shocker! Togo Turn Down Ghana's Request To Have Their AFCON 2025 Home Matches In Lome


The Ghana Football Association is back searching for a venue for the home games of the Black Stars. 


The football body in Ghana approached the Togo Football Federation last week after the approval of the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi was withdrawn by CAF. 


The communication broke down between TFF and GFA on Thursday morning and the request was turned down. 


According to the latest from Accra, the GFA is now searching for a suitable venue for the crucial game against Sudan slated for October.
