 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1.  A mother’s love is the foundation that her child’s life is built on” – Funsho Adeoti appreciates her children for their support on her birthday


Nollywood producer and marketer Kazim Adeoti’s first wife, Funsho Adeoti has specially appreciated her children for their love and support during her 50th birthday celebration.


Funsho Adeoti shared a video of herself and her four children sharing a beautiful cake cutting moment, with emotional words about the love of a mother.


The mother of four said a a child’s life is built on the foundation of the mother’s love. She also spoke about how love anchors and keep the children steady in the storm.


She ended her note with an appreciation to her children who loved and supported her.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
