No good deed goes unpunished.  A Florida sea tow captain saved a man from a burning ship only to be shoved overboard and have his boat stolen. This shocking incident occurred near Marco Island on March 6th. On that date, a call went out regarding a burning boat. The captain of a sea tow boat heard the distress call and rushed to provide aid. He was able to quickly locate the burning boat and  discovered 40-year-old, Ryan Deiter, and his dog onboard the burning ship. Wasting no time, the captain of the sea tow boat was able to maneuver alongside the distressed boat and begin efforts to extricate Deiter and his dog from the doomed vessel.  Eventually, the sea tow captain was able to pull both Deiter and his dog onboard the tow boat. However, once Deiter was pulled to safety, he repaid a stranger's kindness with treachery.  Deiter shoved the captain from his own boat and fled the scene in the stolen boat, leaving the man who had just risked his own vessel and life...

A TEXAS MAN HAS BEEN ARRESTED AFTER POLICE ALLEGE HE TOOK IN DOGS SO HE COULD "END THEIR LIVES IN FRONT OF HIS GIRLFRIEND WHILE HE FOUGHT WITH HER".(PHOTO).

In a very twisted and sick story, a Texas man has been arrested after police allege he took in dogs so he could "end their lives in front of his girlfriend while he fought with her".

Bowie County deputies received a report concerning missing dogs from the Simms, Texas area. When speaking with pet owners, deputies were given the name of 24-year-old Stuart Hammonds as a possible suspect.

When deputies descended onto the property Hammonds shared with his girlfriend, they were met by the unmistakable smell of death. As they searched the property authorities were able to identify the remains of at least 12 dogs suffering from different types of trauma.

While investigating, police were informed by a witness that Mr. Hammonds would take the animal's lives while in fits of rage in front of his girlfriend.

Deputies believe in addition to adopting dogs via social media, Hammonds would also lure loose dogs to his home for his disturbing purposes.

Hammonds was arrested and charged with 12 counts of cruelty to non-livestock animals. His bond was set at $100,000.
