 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1. A disturbing video showing Cameroonian artist Longue Longue, also known as the "Ambassador of Social Causes," being tortured has been making rounds on social media, shocking many.


The artist, famous for speaking out against President Paul Biya’s government, has reportedly faced harsh punishment for his critical stance. The video, which shows scenes of his alleged mistreatment, raises serious concerns about the growing dangers faced by those who express their opinions freely in Cameroon.


This incident points to a larger issue of military abuse and the urgent need for human rights protections, especially for those who speak up against the authorities.
