 BADAGRY ANGELS WIN LAGOS SOFTBALL TOURNEY  Badagry Angels have been crowned champions of the Lagos U-15 Softball Championship held recently at the Badagry Grammar School playing field, Badagry. The five-day tournament, which began on November 11, 2024, ended on Friday, November 15 where eight teams participated in the competition designed to drive the growth of the sport at the grassroots level. As Champions of the tournament, Badagry Angels showcased their dexterity and skills against Rak Angels in the grand finale, maintaining their good position and dominance on the field before finally trouncing their opponents 9 runs to 1. Davido's response to Jarvis' request to spend a day with Chioma


Jadrolita requested to have a day or spend quality time with Davido’s wife, Chioma during a TikTok live session with the singer.

In response, Davido assured Jadrolita that he would talk to his wife about it.

Social media influencers Hamzat Habeeb Adelaja (Peller) and Elizabeth Aminata Amadu (Jadrolita or Jarvis) had a good time with music icon, Davido as they went live on TikTok.


The excitement was palpable as Davido, known for his generosity, asked the duo to make a request.

Jarvis ceased the opportunity, asking for a chance to spend a day or half a day with Davido’s wife, Chioma. Davido agreed to discuss it with Chioma, sending Jarvis into raptures.

Peller, though thrilled by Davido’s surprise appearance, humorously noted that his request was overlooked.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
