 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Forbes has named Davido Africa’s richest artiste for 2024

Stating that he is 4x richer than his rival, Wizkid.

The Forbes list, which ranked Africa’s top five wealthiest musicians, placed Davido at the top with a net worth of $100 million.

Don Jazzy followed with $50 million, while Burna Boy and Wizkid held third and fourth spots with $30 million and $25 million, respectively. Rema stood at $15 million.

Rema had previously hinted at his rising status in one of his songs, claiming that the “Big Three” era is over, as he now ranks fourth.

The new Forbes ranking has however stirred disagreements among fans, particularly amid the ongoing social media clash between Davido and Wizkid.

Fans of Wizkid and Burna Boy have expressed their displeasure with the ranking, igniting further discussions within the music circle.
