 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. HALLOWEEN: 12-YEAR-OLD BOY LOST HIS LIFE TRYING TO SCARE PEOPLE ON A MOVING HAYRIDE. (PHOTO).

 A 12-year-old Tennessee boy loses his life during a hayride when a prank goes wrong.


This sad incident unfolded at 10:45 p.m. in Harrison, Tennessee on October 11th. The Hamilton County, Tennessee Sheriff's Department were called to the 8200 block of Highway 58 at that time. 


Once on scene, the first responders were informed of events which lead up to a 12-year-old, Samuel Jesson, being discovered unresponsive in the roadway.


According to the children's chaperone for the evening at the Haunted Hilltop Hayride, the group of children he had been in charge of had hid in bushes along the hayride route. As the hayride passed, the children jumped out of their hiding spot in an attempt to scare the people on the hayride. Samuel had attempted to jump onto the trailer but he tragically slipped and fell under the tires.


He was subsequently ran over and was unresponsive after the accident. Sadly, the juvenile was pronounced deceased on the scene.


Our thoughts are with the family of Samuel Jessen and everyone on scene who witnessed this heartbreaking accident. He is gone much too soon.
